HUGHES, Patricia J. - of Clio, formerly of Montrose, age 77, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the O'Guinn Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Sunset Hills. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 12-8PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Maple Woods Manor.
Patricia was born on February 28, 1936 to the late Fred and Fae (Munger) Tilden. She graduated from Flint Technical High School in 1954. Patricia retired after 32 years as a bank clerk from Montrose State Bank. She enjoyed reading, shopping, going out to lunch and spending time with family.
Surviving are: daughter, Pamela (Daniel) Devereaux of Clio; son, Richard Hanley of Battle Creek; stepson, Willie Hughes of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Amie (Chad) Lovelady, Dawn (Matthew) Walton, Melissa (Ron) Wilson, Rick Hanley Jr., Johnathon (Corey) Hanley, Michael (Donna) Hanley; 15 great grandchildren; great great granddaughter; sisters in law, Dorothy & Doris; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Mary Diffin and her special family at Maple Woods Manor; Patricia was preceded in death by: siblings, Fred Jr., Carl, Betty, Malcolm, Joyce; stepmother, Hazel.
