Celeste Feldpausch, 71 of Grand Blanc, MI went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 21, 2024. She
was born Celeste Mason August 11, 1952 at St. Joseph Hospital Flint, MI. She was the daughter of John and Dorothy (Wachowiak) Mason. She graduated from Central High school Flint, MI. After graduation Celeste proudly served in the United States Air Force in law enforcement. She was stationed at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base near Marquette MI as the first Female in law enforcement on the base. After leaving the Air Force she went to work for the City of Flint Police Department as a Corrections
Community Service Officer. Later Celeste worked for the United States Post Office as a letter carrier and clerk for 26 years before retiring in 2009. On February 14, 1998 she married her husband of 26 years Bruce Feldpausch. Celeste enjoyed spending time with her family. She said of time spent with her family, she wouldn’t change our time together for anything. Celeste loved to travel. She had a special affinity for all things Disney and Harry Potter and visited Disney and Universal Studios on numerous occasions. Additionally she enjoyed keeping in touch with her friends and family via face book. After retiring she went on many cruises and vacations. At home she loved listening to music, reading books
and watching her favorite TV shows and movies.
She is survived by her husband: Bruce Feldpausch: daughter Kerry Mason: grandchildren Jeremy Oles
and Matthew Oles. She is also survived by her brothers John Mason, Mark Mason, Benjamin Mason and Eric Mason, also her sister Rebecca Pumfrey. She was preceded in death by her parents John and
Dorothy Mason: her brothers Lawrence Mason and Paul Mason and Sister Susan Henderson.
A memorial mass will take place 1PM May 30, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 North Dayton Street, Davison MI. Visitation will be before the mass from 12PM to 1PM.
The family would like to give a special thanks to friends, family and care givers for the thoughts, prayers and time spent with Celeste. Celeste would want us to remember the good times and laughs we had together and forget the bad. She would like us to live life to the fullest. The path has been made clear the heavy lifting is done it is up to us carry the load until we meet again. |
