SUTPHIN, Anthony – Of Flushing, age 48, went to be with his Savior on Friday, February 3, 2017, at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2017, at Trinity Baptist Church. Pastor Steve Harmon will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Vassar. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church Reformers Unanimous.
Mr. Sutphin was born in Flint, MI, on January 16, 1969, the son of Forest and Delores (Adams) Sutphin. He was employed by SSCS, Global IT as a Senior Field Engineer. Anthony was a avid fan of the Detroit Lions. He liked everyone he met.
Survivors include his mother, Delores Patterson of Flushing; sisters, Calinda and husband Jon Young of Louisville, KY, Katelin Paquet of Flint; nieces and nephews, Brett and wife Rachael Sayre, Bo Sayre and fiancée Karlyn, Andrew Sayre, Ashlie Young, and Cody Young; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
