DENKINS, Mitchell D. - of Clio, age 63, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial at Meadowview Memorial Gardens in Davison. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 12PM until 8PM and Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mitchell was born December 17, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to Leslie and Ruby (Sova) Denkins. He married Sherry Simpson on June 30, 1973 in Clio. Mitchell enjoyed riding his Harley and vacationing in Jamaica with his wife.
Surviving are: Wife, Sherry Denkins of Clio; Daughters: Amy (Don) Lance of Clio, and Danielle (Alex) Goff of Clio; Grandchildren: Destinie, Alexys, Jacob, and Shanley; Mother, Ruby Denkins; Siblings: Wayne (Janice) Denkins, Greg (Gail) Denkins, Teresa (Fred) Dobis, and Leslie (Gary) Owens.
