LIMRON, Gary R.- of Flushing, age 70, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Clio American Legion Post #158. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-9 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Gary was born on November 27, 1942 in Flint, MI to the late Howard and Thelma (Maybaugh) Limron. He graduated from Mt Morris High School in 1961. Gary married Nora Cuty on December 16, 1966 at the First Nazarene in Flint. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1972. Gary was the owner of Limron Enterprises in Flushing. He retired from Buick in 1990 with 30 years seniority. He was a member of the UAW Local# 599. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, metal working and building short track race cars. He loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are: wife, Nora; son, Gary Jr. (Stacy) Limron of Flushing; 3 grandchildren, Mark, Mathew, Cora; sister, Carol (James) Sherman of MO; brother-in-law, Wilford (Elaine) Cuty; sisters-in-law, Betty Limron, Sharon (Dale) Ross, Jean (Fred) Longfellow, Joan (Dan) Older, Ruby (Rev Patrick) Baranski; nephews and nieces, Mark, Matt, Mike, Hope, Tracy, Richard Drake, Verneta Willis; and many other family and friends.
