PARKS, Judith Teal - Of Burton, age 79, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Deacon Omar Odette officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 9am-8pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Judith was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 9, 1939, the daughter of Oscar Bell and Olive Bray. On February 7, 1959, she married Ralph Byron Parks Jr. Judith was a homemaker and loved her many dogs she had over the years. She loved to bowl, collect cookie jars, watch her Detroit Tigers and Detroit Pistons every chance she had, along with trying to become a millionaire by playing the lottery every day. Judith always had time to fit in her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s games as well. “Judy”, as everyone knew her, was a great woman and will be sadly missed.
Surviving are husband, Ralph Byron Parks, Jr.;
children, Gwenn Feliciano (Eddie), Nancy Parks (Tom), Carmen Lawson (Ed), Scott Parks (Lorraine), Michael Parks (LeAnn);
15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
