WARREN, William Sr. L. “Pepsi Bill” - Of Grand Blanc, age 87, died Friday, April 12, 2013 at McLaren-Flint.

Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, April 16, 2013
at the United In Christ Lutheran Church, G6330 Corunna Road, Flint, Pastor Stephen Stahlhut officiating.

Burial in Flint Memorial Park.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation 2-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Mr. Warren will be at the church 10am Tuesday until the time of the service.

William was born in Ashville, North Carolina on April 24, 1925, the son of the late Sherman H. Warren and Blanche A. Brookshire. He was a member of United In Christ Lutheran Church. Mr. Warren was a Veteran of the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Warren was employed as a truck driver with Pepsi Cola for nine years. “Pepsi Bill” was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed playing golf and was a racing enthusiast.

Surviving are sons, Billy Jr., Ralph, Michael, Timmy (Dawn), Jimmy, Richard (Peggy) and Mark;

daughters, Debra, Pamela (Tim) Jamison and Rose (David) Morris;

16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren;

step-mother, Bertha Dockery;

3 brothers and 3 sisters;

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Louise, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
