MITCHELL, Charles (Chuck) Arnold – Of Grand Blanc, age 69, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. Memorial service will be held 4pm. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Central Church of the Nazarene, G1261 W. Bristol Road, Flint. Visitation will begin at 3pm preceding the service. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Susan (Wood) Mitchell; his children: daughter Tina (Mitchell) Bufkin and her husband Darin Bufkin of Indianapolis, IN, and son Thomas and wife Tammi Mitchell of Brighton, MI; his 7 grandchildren: Alexa, Aven, Abigail and Allison Bufkin, Travis Cowen, Tori and Tatum Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael in 1970; and his parents, L.E. and Betty Mitchell of Rushville, NE.
Chuck was born September 9,1942 in Washington D.C. and raised in Rushville, NE. Throughout his life, he was active in Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts. In recent years, he volunteered at the Grand Blanc Senior Center as a Medicare plan consultant.
