Sellars, Elizabeth G. of Flint, age 104, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at her home. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Rev. Jeanne Wisenbaugh will officiate. Memorial visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rossell Funeral Home until the time of the service.
Elizabeth was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 19, 1913, the daughter of Rhett and Ruth (Henderson) Glover. She married Robert A. Sellars on November 28, 1935, in Atlanta, Georgia. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1985. Betty worked as a secretary for Flushing Community Schools at Seymour Elementary and later at the Administration Building. She enjoyed traveling and golf and was an avid Bridge player.
Betty is survived by her children, Betty and husband Jim Witbrodt of Midland, Robert Jr. and wife Linda Sellars of Clarkston, Mary Ann Walkling of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Lynne (Craig) Carlson, Laurel (Kendall) Ruhberg, Cathy (John) Henry, Robert III (Josephine) Sellars, Don (Kimberly Rule) Tomalia, Leigh (Dan) Gaffke, Debbie (Willard) Lawson; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Bullington of Jacksonville, FL; and brother, Jack and Alice Glover of Atlanta, GA. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Robert Walkling.
