THAYER, Dorothy May – of Flint, age 87, passed away September 27, 2014 at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Per Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 6 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Jeff Englehart officiating. Visitation will be 5-6 PM Wednesday.
Dorothy was born in Flint, MI on April 10, 1927 and married Lowell Thayer on May 10, 1947. She was a homemaker, an avid golfer and devoted mother. Dorothy was a legal secretary and president of the Flint Chapter of Legal Secretaries.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Dorann Shott, Corey Thayer and Kimberly Johnson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
