KINCAID, Vivian (Douglas) – of Flushing, age 97, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Fostrian Manor. Funeral services will be held on her 98th birthday Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 1 PM at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Jack Dowden officiating. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-9PM and on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Vivian was born May 22, 1916 in Flint to the late Lee and Celia (Bryza) Douglas and lived in the Flint area her entire life. She married Victor Kincaid on September 23, 1936. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1998. Mrs. Kincaid retired from Consumers Power in 1984 with 25 years seniority. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Vienna Chapter #283. She was a great artist who enjoyed painting.
Surviving are: sons, Rex (Annette) Kincaid of Flushing, Mark (Connie) Kincaid of Flint; daughter-in-law, Joanne Kincaid of MA; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Delores Chappell of Holly; several nieces and nephews.
