WILLIAMS, Shirley Ann - Of Burton, age 73, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday, August 8, 2013
at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6336 Roberta Street, Burton,
Rev. Father Carl Simon officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Visitation 12-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Shirley will be at the church 10am Thursday until the time of the Mass.
Shirley was born in Bay City, MI on May 14, 1940. She was a graduate of St. Stanislaus Catholic High School in Bay City, Class of 1958. Shirley also attended Northeastern School of Commerce. She worked at Defoe Shipbuilding as a bookkeeper in Bay City, Sioux Valley Electric as a receptionist in Coleman, South Dakota and Flint Oil Company in Flint, yet she felt her most important job was that of wife and mother. Shirley married Ronald Williams on June 10, 1961. She loved going to the casino, playing cards, working in her garden, and playing games on the computer. Family was the most important cornerstone of her life; she lovingly cooked family dinners each Sunday to keep her family close.
Surviving are husband, Ronald of 52 years;
daughter, Karolynn (Earl) Kischnick;
son, Jeff (Tracy) Williams;
daughters, Amy (Mark) Schofield;
grandchildren, Elizabeth, Zachary, Mitchell, Madison, Ellery and Kendall;
sister, Joyce (Bill) Cataline;
and special friends, Sharron Colles and Carolyn Grush along with the morning coffee group.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Brozewski.
