Betty Lou Strzynski of Davison, age 67, died Monday February 10, 2025 at Henry Ford-Genesys Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday February 15, 2025at Davison Missionary Church 1481 N. Gale Rd. Davison: Pastor Brent Sloan officiating with cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors from 3-6 pm Friday at the funeral home. Betty will lie in state at the church from 11:00 am Saturday until time of services.
Betty was born in San Antonio , Texas on November 21, 1957 the daughter of the late: Rudy and Janie (Salas)Lopez and has resided in the Davison area the last sixteen years , spending most of her life in Imlay City and Lapeer County. She was joined in marriage to Steve J. Strzynski on December 3, 1977 and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2022. She was a graduate of Imlay City High School Class of 1976. Betty was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, and a quiet cup of coffee. Her true passion was spending time with her loving grandchildren. Betty had a love of children and owned and operated Precious Moments Day Care in Lapeer County for years. She later worked for Lapeer Community Schools as a bus driver until her retirement. Surviiving are children: Nina and husband Jeff Black, Brandon and wife Brynn Strzynski, and Erica and husband Steve Graska. She also leaves her nine loving grandchildren, and siblings: Edna (Matt) Sanchez,
Sandy (Mark) Schlak, Rudy Lopez, Eddie Salas, Arnold Salas, and a host of extended family and friends. Betty is preceded in death by grandson Evan Graska and sister Marie Vincent. Please share your condolences with the family at www.hansenfuneralhome.net |
