Donna L. Tobias age 69 of Durand passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic church in Durand. Rev. Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 PM at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel and one hour before the service at the church.
Donna was born August 10, 1946 in Montrose, MI a daughter of Donald and Pearl (Monroe) Cramer. She married Edwin Tobias in Grand Rapids. He preceded her in death in 2004. Donna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Durand, Loaves and Fishes and the Red Hat Society. Prior to her retirement she was the Treasurer for the City of Durand for many years.
Donna is survived by her son, Stanley Tobias; grandson, Henry Tobias; sisters, Hellen Thompson and Thelma Walker; brother, Richard (Linda) Cramer; uncle, Loyal Monroe; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Tobias.
