WELLS, Gerald L. – of Grand Blanc, formerly of Franklin, TN. It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Gerald, who passed away on June 11, 2017 with family by his side at the age of 55 years after a year long battle with cancer. A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 & 5-8 PM Wednesday and 10-11AM Thursday.
Jerry was always there to help friends and family and those who knew him will smile and remember that he had the awesome ability to talk to anyone and everyone. His friendship will be missed by all.
He will be forever remembered and loved by his mother and stepfather, Sandra and LeRoy LaJeunesse; daughters, Nicole Wells (Corey), Kayla Wells (Ahmed) ; grandson, Nolan; brother, Jim (Gina) Wells; sister, Pam (Marcus) Stamps; dear friend and mother of his girls, Janis Wells; brother-in-law, Norm (Sally) Porter; step-mother, Doreen Oyadomari; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Earles Wells; first wife, Marsha Wells and father-in-law, Dan Porter. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Reverence Hospice for their kindness and care to Jerry and the family in his final days.
