MILLOY, Harold E. “John” – of Burton, age 84, passed away November 18, 2015 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Pete Scribner officiating. Burial, with Military Honors under the auspices of the VFW Flint Post #3087, will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM Friday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project and the McLaren Cancer Institute.
John was born in Detroit, MI on April 5, 1931. He married Barbara J. Prine on June 25, 2006. John was an active member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. John retired from Grand Trunk Western Railroad as a chief clerk after 42 years of service.
John is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Kathleen Milloy; step-children, Linda (Jeff) Archambeau, Beth Taylor, Laurie (Pat) Tabit, Guy, Ron and Randy Oyler, Wendy (Paul) Sherwood, Tim (Diane) Prine, Dan (Tracy) Prine, Pamela Durand-Soto; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Sharon (Harold) Mauk, Anita (Billie) Gregory. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Mayer; previous wives, Vivian Milloy and Elizabeth Milloy. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the angels at Regency of Grand Blanc, McLaren Hospital ER and ACU.
