PELTONEN, Pamela M. (Serr) – of Clio, age 48, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, December 16, 2013 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 353 E. Vienna Rd. in Clio. Dr. John D. Bailey officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family funeral Home in Clio on Saturday from 6-8PM, and Sunday from 12-4 and 6-8PM. She will lie in state at the church on Monday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church.
Pam was born April 4, 1965 in Ft. Bragg, NC to Vernon and Barbara (Keen) Serr. She lived in the Clio and Genesee area the past 28 years. Pam married Zane Peltonen on September 28, 1985 in Clio. She worked for Genesee School District for over 20 years recently as a Para Pro. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Pam enjoyed cooking, sports activities, her pond, her pets and animals.
Surviving are: husband, Zane; children, Bryan Peltonen of Davison, Aaron Peltonen of Davison, Tyler Peltonen at home, Dawn (Jason) Wyatt of TX, Amy Peltonen of TX; 3 grandchildren, Brandon Wyatt, Emma Soto, Dru Soto all of TX; parents, Vernon and Barbara Serr of Clio; sister, Sandra (Robert) Atwell of Clio; brother, Ronald (Sandra) Keen of TN; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends.
