SEAMANS, Janet E. – of Grand Blanc, age 76, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her residence. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI. Burial follows at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 12 noon Monday until time of services. Janet was born and raised in Parma, Michigan. She was the eldest of three children born to Kenneth and Beatrice White. In April 1956 Janet married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Seamans. Together they shared 56 years of marriage until his passing in June of 2012. Janet was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her love of NASCAR, she was an avid quilter and a member of the Grand Blanc Heritage Association and Museum and the Quilt Guild. She will be dearly missed, as will her sharp quick witted sense of humor. Janet is survived by her brother and sister; four children, Susan McCoy, Stephany Keely, Stephen Seamans and wife, and Shannon Seamans; as well as her nine grandchildren whom she cherished. In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Blanc Heritage Association and Museum or to the Salvation Army. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.hillfh.com. |
