Margaret M. Feriend was born May 24, 1915, in Flint, Michigan. She was the oldest of six children. She was a dedicated employee of the Ternstedt factory in Flint and retired after 28 years. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt. Her life revolved around her family and she loved spending time with them. She was selfless, patient, kind and generous with her time and love. She was always ready to jump in the car and go on an adventure. She was a pillar of light and love in her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her granddaughters Heather (Daniel) Hundt of North Branch and Regina (Benjamin) Fosmoen of Grand Blanc; her nine great-grandchildren Joshua, Hannah, Jonathon & Brayden Hundt and Gavin, Landen, Nurmi, Benjamin & Sterling Fosmoen.
Margaret was proceeded in death by her Father Melvin Coleman and her Mother Bessie Coleman; daughter Viki Nurmi; brothers Kenneth, Melvin, and James Coleman; sister Geraldine Gowan and Betty Childs.
Friends may visit with Margaret's family on Thursday, June 1st from 2 - 8 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lapeer. Rev. Alex Peterson will be officiating. Burial at Richfield Union Cemetery in Davison will follow. Memorial donations to the First Presbyterian Church are appreciated. |
