BURKE, Francis Neil – Of Davison, age 77, Thursday, January 23, 2020
at his residence.
Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Central Church of the Nazarene, G-1261 West Bristol Road, Flint, Pastor Jon Gildner officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial visitation will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at church until the time of the service
Francis was born in Flint, Michigan on April 20, 1942, the son of Thomas and Frances Burke.
He married Linda Soper.
He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Mr. Burke was employed at Fisher Body, retiring from Buick Motor Division and retired in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Surviving are wife, Linda D. Burke;
children, William Burke, Dr. Keith Burke and Damian Owens, Leann (Gary) Houck, April (Jason) Laird and Ann Cheezum;
grandchildren, Kevin (Vanessa) Burke, Courtney Burke and Zach Rohl, Kristen Houck, Heather Houck, Eric Houck, Stephanie Cheezum, Avery Laird and Nicholas Laird;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Burke; daughters, Lisa Schlosser and Kim Schlosser; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Burke; sister, Sharon Doyle; parents, Tom and Frances Burke and brother-in-law, Charles Harvel.
