THOMPSON-CARB, Stella Mae (Morgan), of Rochester, MI, formerly of Burton, MI, age 86, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423, Rev. Pete Scribner officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park, 878 North Perry Street, Pontiac, MI 48340. The family will receive visitors 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM Sunday, October 30, 2016 and 10-11 AM Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the funeral home.

Stella was born in Pontiac, MI on June 29, 1930, daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith (Collins) Morgan. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Rochester, MI and Calvary Presbyterian Church in Flint, MI. Stella was employed with Ridgecrest Baptist Church as a custodian, retiring in 1990. She and her first husband, Earl Thompson, enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home. Stella loved to bake strawberry rhubarb and apple pies. She also enjoyed gardening and making crocheted blankets for her family.

Mrs. Thompson-Carb is survived by 5 children, Diane (Jim) Mueller, Gary (Lynne) Thompson, Sandy (Max) Jarrell, Jeff (Diana) Thompson and Dale (Michele) Thompson; 2 step-sons, Brian (Judy) Carb and Billy Carb; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 6 sisters; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Thompson; second husband, Bill Carb and 1 sister.
