TAYLOR, Byron H. - Of Flint Township, age 81, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Byron was born in Otisville, Michigan on May 24, 1937, the son of the late Byron and Phoebe (Fenner) Pettit. He was raised by his mother Phoebe and his step-father, Carrol Taylor. On March 8, 1957, he married Shirley Mae Mose and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2008. Byron retired from Chevy in the Hole after 30 years of service.
Surviving are son, Byron H. Taylor Jr. (Lois);
daughters, Claire M. Seeley and Shirley Christine Taylor;
grandchildren, Mary Rodriguez (John), Matthew Seeley, Kristin Perry, Kaylin Dunn and Christopher Taylor;
great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Angelia;
and sister, Janet (Leroy) Hutchins.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Carol Forbey and Caroline Sue Drewa.
