WESCOAT, Janet May – of Frankenmuth, age 84, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Wellspring Lutheran Home in Frankenmuth. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Pastor Dan Pugh officiating. Cremation to follow with inurnment in Cook Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Friday, 5-8PM, Saturday 2-8PM and on Sunday from 1 PM until time of services at 3 PM. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Janet was born July 20, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Charles and Juanita (Franklin) Crandall. She lived in the Birch Run area since 1956. She married Robert E. Wescoat on September 30, 1950. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2003. She enjoyed knitting, bowling, fishing and dancing.
Surviving are: Sons: Brad (Vickie) Wescoat of Vassar, Chris Wescoat of Birch Run; Step granddaughter, Erica Tuttle of Vassar; Sister, Betty Delany of Howell; many nieces and nephews.
