Ross Theodor Barr of Columbiaville age 44, died Saturday May 5, 2018 at the residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be from 4-8 pm Thursday May 17, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison. Ross was born in Lapeer Michigan on September 28, 1973 the son of Ralph “Ted” & Mary (Fuchs) Barr, spending most of his life in the area, and the last several years in Chicago where he was employed by Home Depot and was attending the Art Institute of Chicago. Ross was a graduate of Lakeville Community Schools. Answering the call of his country Ross served as a Combat Engineer in the US Army. Ross put his family and God ahead of everything, His love of gardening, landscaping, and fishing allowed him to enjoy the outdoors, when not playing video games, and studying the location of Big Foot. He leaves to cherish his memory mother Mary, his siblings; Rose & husband Marc DeLaPena, Ryan and wife Parisa Barr, and Rick and wife Nicole Barr. Also his loving nieces: Serena, Lucy, Alice, Layli, and nephew Hayden. He is preceded in death by his father Ralph “Ted” Barr, and grandmother Mildred Barr.
