NAGY, Florence B. - age 96, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday and 12-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Thursday. Visitation will also be held 10 AM until the time of Mass Friday at the church. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Vincent De Paul Society.
Florence was born September 27, 1923 in Fenton, the daughter of Philip and Belle (Kidder) Foley. She graduated from Fenton High School in 1941. Florence married Julius "Joe" Nagy at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton on January 10, 1948. She was a life long Fenton resident and long time member of St. John Catholic Church. She was employed as a Real Estate Agent with Century 21 in Fenton for 31 years. Florence was also a member of the Genesee County Real Estate Board. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: 2 sons, Steve (Pam) Nagy, Bill (Jody) Nagy; 5 grandchildren, Joshua (Charlene) Nagy, Dr. Lindsey (Michael Turbyville) Nagy, Aimee (Adam) Shook, Jonathan Nagy, Trevor Martin; 3 great grandchildren, Aleksandra, Reagan, and Warner; brother, Max (Marianne) Foley; sisters in law, Sandy Foley, Norma Foley; niece, Penny Barclay; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
