SCHADENBERG, Sr., Jimmy Alan- of Burton, age 67, passed away October 11, 2015 at his residence under Hospice Care. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Dale Pattee officiating. Burial will be in Dawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM-2 PM and 4-8 PM Tuesday and 11 AM-2PM and 4-8 PM Wednesday. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday.
Jimmy was born in Flint, Michigan on July 12, 1948, son of the late William and Yvonne (Burnham) Schadenberg. He attended Kearsley High School and then married Linda S. Turkuc on February 22, 1974 in Flint. They had been married 41 years. Jimmy proudly served in the U.S. Army, spending 13 months in Vietnam. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Jimmy raised exotic animals on his game ranch. He was a good Christian man who loved and trusted his Lord. Jimmy retired from the railroad.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Jimmy A. Schadenberg, Jr., Michelle M. Stables, Lori R. (Scott) Daggett, Tonya M. Potter (Chris), Stephen W. (Crystal) Schadenberg, William L. Schadenberg (Michelle Walker); 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Connie L. Campbelle (David), Andralee Proffer (J.C.); many nieces and nephews. Linda would like to extend a special thank you to his children and their families, his sisters and their families, palliative care through the VA, his nurse through Residential, Tara and Reverence Hospice for all their support and care of Jimmy.
