GERVAIS, Patrick Joseph. – of Montrose, age 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Maple Woods Manor of Clio. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Patrick’s Life will be held at 4PM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 2PM until 6PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette, MI.
Patrick was born March 17, 1926 in Dryburg, Michigan to the late Raoul and Marie Anne (Gadoury) Gervais. He married Edythe Ellis November 28, 1951. Mr. Gervais was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He also spent many years as a mechanic. Patrick was a very loving husband and father.
Surviving are: Wife of 66 years, Edythe Gervais; Children: Don (Cheryl) Gervais of Flint, Dale (Cindi) Gervais of Sunbury, OH, Nancy Somers of Flushing, Mark (Donna) Gervais of Swartz Creek, Alan Gervais of Flushing, Denise (Gary) Hibbs of Flushing, and Dean Gervais of Montrose; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 on the way; Many other loving family members.
