LOFTIS, Donna – Of Grand Blanc, age 88, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Rob Prince and Pastor John Booko co-officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Central Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 12 p.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donna was born in on November 1, 1931, the daughter of William and Vena (Mitchell) Semons.
She was a model for Avante and was the Matriarch of the family.
Donna was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene and Apples of Gold Bible Study for many years and hosted many church staff dinners.
She traveled all 7 continents.
She loved Ball Room dancing with her husband. She was devoted to her family and holidays, the more grandchildren and noise the happier she was.
Surviving are her children and in-laws, Patricia and Cliff Neville, Lori Lake, William and Diane Loftis, Tammy and Tom McAuliffe, Scott Loftis;
grandchildren, Amanda Neville, Christianne Schojan-Rider, Courtney Cox, Kit Neville, Alexis Hutchins, Eric Lake, Michael Lake, Kristin Warner, James Loftis, Casey McAuliffe, Tim McAuliffe, Katie Osentoski, Abbey Loftis and Jadyn Loftis;
18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, on December 12, 2003.
