Moore, Jodi Ann of Flushing, age 69, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017, at her home. Per her wishes cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jodi was born on March 29, 1948, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Richard and Joan (McCready) Sliger. She married Davis Moore in Flushing, MI on July 24, 2004. Jodi worked hard to become a teacher and she loved teaching. She was an artist who also loved music, cooking, gardening and traveling, especially to the Outer Banks. She was also an avid sports fan, and loved the Michigan Wolverines. After she retired, she volunteered for Hospice.
She is survived by her husband, Davis P. Moore; children, Holly Hatfield and husband Steve, Eric Schwertner and wife Nicole, Tyson Schwertner, Jefferson Moore, and Katie and husband Tim MacDonald; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Kay Wilson, Margie Williams, Mike Sliger, Mary Sliger; and many nieces and nephews.
