Lietch, Janet of Flushing, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Sarah LaRose will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Janet was born in Flint, the daughter of Floyd and Ruth (Fisck) Rushlow. She married James R. Mack on April 20, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Janet graduated from Hurley School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse, retiring from McLaren after 41 ½ years. She loved ballroom dancing and was a member of the Great Lakes Swing Dance Club and Michigan Ballroom Dancing Association. Janet enjoyed being in the warm weather, planting flowers and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Susan and husband Paul Beggs; grandchildren, Madisyn (Matt) Bushre, Zane Scott Bushre; sisters, Ila and husband Don Pound, Gayle and husband Jim Brady and her beloved Green Bear. Janet was preceded in death by her son, Scott Donald Bushre and brother, Lyle Rushlow. |
