BURGESS, Theodore "Ted" - Age 69, of Lewisburg, TN formerly of Davison, died Thursday, May 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Pastor Brian Oswald officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Ted was born July 14, 1949 in Wilson, AR, the son of Theodore Burgess and Victoria Yancy. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He married Deborah Lynn Lindsey November 28, 1989 in Flint. He retired from GM Metal Fab in Flint. Ted was a member of the U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are: his wife, Deborah "His Darling"; sons, Daniel (Lynn) Burgess of Flint Township and Phillip Burgess of Tennessee; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Dan), Aubrey (Andrew), Hailey, Daniel, Madison, Gracie, Gabrielle, Jeremiah, and Caleb; great grandson, Cameron Theodore; siblings, Levern Burgess of Arkansas, Carol Jean Maier of Michigan, Peggy (Kenneth) Kamp of Arkansas, Donnie Sue Stone of Arkansas, and Bill (Pat) Burgess of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
