BENTLEY, Loren Robert "Bob" – Of Davison, age 80, died Friday, August 12, 2016 at McLaren-Lapeer.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Ty Woznek officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Zion's Hope, Winter Haven, Florida.
Visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Loren was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 23, 1936.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Loren married Phyllis A. Abel on February 24, 1968.
He was a former active member, Deacon and Adult Bible Teacher at North Baptist Church 1960-1990, a member of Calvary Bible Church of Lapeer in the 1990’s. He was currently a member of Life Fellowship Chapel in Davison.
He was an accomplished oil and water color artist.
Mr. Bentley was employed by GM Parts & Service for 38 years, retiring in 1992. He owned his own business, Bentley Expediting.
Surviving are wife, Phyllis;
Sister, Bonnie Lou Bentley;
many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Catherine Bentley.
