Robert E. Middleton, age 67, of Fostoria died January 24, 2014 at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home.
Robert was born November 10, 1946 in Lapeer. The son of the late Eugene and Geraldine Middleton. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Robert retired from General Motors, and was avid sports fan that especially liked racing. He was a member of the Fostoria United Methodist Church and Fostoria Odd fellows #22.
Robert is survived by his children: Bobby Jo Middleton, Jennifer ( Denver ) McLaughlin, Scott ( Jody ) Middleton, siblings: Dennis ( Kathy ) Middleton, Larry ( Fiancé Traci ) Middleton, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Fostoria United Methodist Church. Friends may visit at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville on Friday from 3-9 PM. Pastor Kay Leitelt officiating. Interment Watertown Township Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Robert may be made to the church Hospice of Hope in Frankenmuth.
