Stewart, James Roscoe – Age 63, of Davison, MI died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423, with Pastor Jim Combs and Pastor Michael Cheng. Visitation will be 2-3 PM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
Jim was born in Flint, MI, February 12, 1954 to Madoline and Howard I. Stewart. Jim was an active member of Various Van customization clubs attending car shows and cruises with his custom vans. He was also a member of Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge 535 and Shriners Elf Khurafeh Temple of Clio, MI. Jim also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, camping, and traveling with his various custom van clubs.
Jim retired from General Motors factory work after working at Fisher Body of Grand Blanc, and Delphi Flint West site and serving as a member of the local United Auto Workers union.
Surviving are: Sisters: Kay and Eddy Carpenter of Otter Lake; Karen Richmond-Hanson of Grand Blanc; Mary Browning of Flint, MI; Linda and Gary Duggins of Davison. Nephews and Nieces: Jeremy, Brandi, Jason, Kari, Stephen, Aaron, Eric, Brett, Heather, Chantel, Andrew, Matthew, Nathan, Abigail, Noah, Emma, Caleb and many more friends and Family.
Jim was preceded in death by Mother in 1980 and Father in 1998.
