FROST (MORRIS) (COBURN), DONNA JEAN – Of Flushing, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Living Joy Assisted Living.
Visitation 10 a.m. Friday at church until the time of the Funeral Service.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Road, Pastor Richard Williams officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Donna was born in Flint, Michigan on October 9, 1930, the daughter of the late Floyd H. and Alice P. (Ketchebaw) Morris.
Donna was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School (1949) and Baptist Bible College and seminary in Johnson City, New York (1954).
On April 26, 1980 she married Garth T. Frost and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2011.
She loved to sing and was very active in music throughout her life.
Donna also taught Sunday school classes and served on different committees.
Her hobbies included painting and crocheting. She enjoyed working in her flower beds.
Donna was saved at the age of 8, and was always active in church. After serving the Lord for all those years, she is “Finally Home.”
She leaves behind two wonderful sons, Charles, and Harold (Sue) Coburn;
12 grandchildren;
15 great-grandchildren
2 great-great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews, as well as special friends, Jan Taylor, Lavern, Sue Clarke and Cheryl Viar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garth; daughter, Deborah; parents; 3 sisters; 2 brothers and stepsons, David and Mark Frost.
