KEHOE, Thomas A. “Tom”– of Genesee, age 77, passed away January 7,
2016 at McLaren – Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service
will be held 6 PM Tuesday January 12, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136
Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be 11 AM – 6 PM Tuesday. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Old Newsboys.
Tom was born in Flint, MI on September 20, 1938, son of the late Albert G.
and Clara B. (Pickard) Kehoe. He married Bonita “Bonnie” S. Hawkins on
August 20, 1961 in Genesee, MI. Tom was a Mechanical Engineer before
founding Michigan Quality Design with his son Tom, an engineering
company in 1983. He was an avid car collector? his first car project was a
1935 Ford he restored and his prize possession was a 1957 Black Chevy Bel
Air Convertible of which he loved taking to the Flint, Back to the Bricks Car
Show. He enjoyed spending every summer near the Silver Lake Sand Dunes
since 1983 at Holiday Shores Park, LLC? of which he developed and
designed with his family. He enjoyed having campfires at the lake each night
and fun at the “Tiki Hut.” Most important to him was his love and devotion
to his wife, children and grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie? children, Brenda S. (Larry)
Buckle? Thomas T. Kehoe? grandchildren, Jacob Kehoe, Kalie Kehoe, Alexa
Kehoe, Trent Kehoe and Hunter Buckle. Tom is also survived by extended
family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol R. Murphy.
