HATFIELD, Patricia Ann - Age 83,of Swartz Creek, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, November 7, 2024 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Burial in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Deerfield Township. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek Wednesday from 4-8 PM and at church Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home 7 PM Wednesday.
Patricia was born October 31, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Dominic and Alberta (Lee) Manzardo. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Baker College. She married Marion Robert Hatfield February 7, 1970 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint and he preceded her in death July 5, 2008. She had resided in the Swartz Creek area most of life. Patricia was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. She also was a member of the Swartz Creek American Legion Auxiliary Post #294. She enjoyed reading, knitting (especially blankets, scarves and mittens), playing cards, visits to the casinos and doing puzzles.
Surviving are: her son, Tobias (Katrina) Hatfield of Burton; grandchildren, Cody Hatfield, Cameron Hatfield, Arianna Hatfield and Nadia Hatfield; brothers, Robert Mazardo of Davison and Michael (Janet) Manzardo of Traverse City; sister, Laura Dequise of Linden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Alberta Manzardo; son, Jason Hatfield; and sister-in-law, Arlene Manzardo. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
