Geraldine Louise Baker
Age 83 of Owosso passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Durand Senior and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11am at Nelson-House Funeral Home, Owosso with Pastor Kathy Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Yerian Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday 2-8pm
Geraldine was born January 31, 1929 in New Haven Township, the daughter of Laverne and Ruth (Brown) Conklin.
She attended Easton Schools and graduated from Chesaning High School, class of 1946.
Geraldine was a member of the Lennon United Methodist Church and loved traveling and camping.
She married Gerald Edward Baker at the Easton Church of Christ on July 25, 1948.
Geraldine had been employed at Universal Electric in her earlier years then spending her life being a homemaker, raising and caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Gerald; daughters Suzanne (James) Eymann of Morrice and Jeanne (Dan) Gilbank of Swartz Creek; son William (Elaine) Baker of Lennon; grandchildren Linette (Ray) Dieck, Kimberly (Dave) O?Berry, Jamie (Randy) Farrow, Jeremy Gilbank, Danielle (Tom) Braid, Michael (Sarah) Baker, John and Don Skodak; great-grandchildren Julie and Jenna O?Berry, Bruce and Travis Farrow; brother Darwin (Eileen) Conklin of St. Charles; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Paul Goodrich of Florida; sister-in-law Barbara Conklin of Chesaning.
Geraldine is predeceased by her brothers Don, Charles and Clare Conklin and sister Bondtajean Goodrich.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Lennon Lions Club or Shiawassee County Fair.
