STANLEY, Carl D.- of Clio, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Frank Yount officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12-4 PM and 5-9 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Cal was born on February 24, 1962 in Flint to Herbert and Mabel (Alexander) Stanley. He graduated from Clio High School in 1980. Carl married Glenda Delecki on June 27, 1987 at Crossroads Village. He was employed by Al Serra in Grand Blanc, and was previously a parts manager at Victor George. Carl enjoyed hunting, off-roading, being up north, spending time with his family and friends, and being with his dogs.
Surviving are: Wife, Glenda; Children, Joseph (fiancé Martha Moceri) McGinnis of Flint, Jenny McGinnis of Clio; Mother, Mabel; Siblings, Herb (Cindy) Stanley, Julie (Ron) Blake, Brad (Kelly) Stanley and Suzie (Terry) Delecki; Parents-in-law, Linda Delecki and John Kenny, Frank and Norma Delecki; Nieces, Nephews; and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by: Father, Herbert in 2010. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Linda Delecki, John Kenny, Frank and Norma Delecki and Terry and Suzie Delecki.
