Rohen, Doris Regina - Age 82 of Fenton, died Friday, September 15, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9PM where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM and at church Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the Doris Rohen Memorial Fund.Doris was born July 8, 1935 in Flint the daughter of Lewis and Regina (Pobocik) Harcek. She married Don Rohen in Flint in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 2008. She resided in Fenton since 1970 coming from Flint. Doris was a floral designer working at Geryches in Fenton and House of Memories in Linden. She was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and collecting Santa Clauses.Surviving are three children, Kim (Dan) Traywick of Fenton, James (Sue) Rohen of Prudenville, Jeff "Rudy" (Theresa Cook) Rohen of Fenton; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Harcek of Mt Morris, George (Mariam) Harcek of Florida, Ronnie (Kay) Harcek of St. Helen, Gerald (Lorraine) Harcek of Flint; sister, Ginger Hall of Frankenmuth, Marilyn (Art) Kaiser of Clio, Mary Jane Wheeler of Flushing; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Michael Richard Rohen and Martin Lewis Rohen. Special thank you to her hospice caregivers; Ginger Spaulding and Tracy McCann.
