HOETGER, William T. - Age 91, of Fenton, died February 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, February 20 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church 10235 White Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will take place 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of service Monday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton Right to Life.
William was born February 25, 1925 in Detroit, the son of William and Ruth (Bruckman) Hoetger. William was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. He married Phyllis Swartz on April 6, 1946. She preceded him in death on April 28, 2007. He was president of Lettering Inc. in Detroit. During his retirement he had The White Dove Ceramic and Gift Shop and then The White Dove Art Reproductions.
He is survived by his children, Lynnette Hoetger of Fenton, Deborah (David) DeVries of Troy, New York, and William P. (Jacqueline) Hoetger of Fenton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Irene Hoetger and Carol Swartz; several nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Phyllis, and brother, Charles.
