PATTERSON, Stanley J. III – Of Mt. Morris, age 74, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mr. Patterson will be at the church 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass. Stanley was born in Davison, Michigan on December 4, 1941, son of the late Stanley J. II and Margaret (Goodrich) Patterson. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Patterson worked as a car hauler for 22 years. Surviving are wife, Mary; children, Don, Lisa, Brian, Todd (Sherry) Patterson, Corey (Annette) Patterson, Stan (Ani) Patterson, Tracy (Scott) Hillerman; grandchildren, Tim,Ashley, Cameron, Cody, Shaina, Logan, Paige, Samantha, Vivianna, Bryce and Lance; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Brooke, Faith and Craig; siblings, Bruce and Linda; several nieces, nephews and special companion, Mokey, the cat.
