Margaret Ida Meganck – age 95, passed away July 14, 2020 in Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 2pm- 7pm at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 12pm with one hour visitation prior to at Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Sue Lidums officiating. Margaret was born on February 3, 1925 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Herbert and Mabel Wilson. On December 8, 1944 Margaret married the love of her life Hector Meganck. Margaret worked for Citizen Bank for 17 years, wrote the column for local 1292 for 25 years, was Sunshine lady for Grand Blanc, active member of Burton Senior Center, member of Burton Eagles, and Grand Blanc Moose Lodge. She loved to play Euchre and Bingo, the casino, camping, and road trips to Capac and Croswell. Margaret was wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Gail) Meganck, Jessie (Carl) Cull, Karl Meganck, Marlon (Cindy) Meganck; grandchildren: Barry (Dana), Renee, Charles (Amanda), Camille (Rick), Jacob (Elizabeth), Lindsay (Jonathon), Joseph (Andrea), Ryan, Nicholas; great grandchildren: Katana, Kade, Kyra, Matt, Sam, Logan, Landon, Luke, Blaze, Dallas, Emma, Colton, Hector, Holly; brother, Robert (Rondalyn) Wilson; favorite nephew, Ceriel VanDecasteele; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Hector Meganck; brother, Donald Wilson; daughter-in-law, Rose Marie. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice or Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church in memory of Margaret. |
