Laura L. Garrett, age 54, of Millington died on May 9, 2012 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw.
Laura was born March 11, 1958 in Lapeer. The daughter of Ralph and JoAnn Stevens. She later married Elvin Garrett. Laura worked for the State of Michigan DHS office and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, Nascar, and visiting the casino.
She is survived by her husband Elvin,

She was also survived by her 3 grandchildren: Garrett, Gavin, Alivia and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph, grandparents Don & Erma Traver and Norman & Gertrude Stevens
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM from Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit Friday 2-8 PM and Saturday 11AM till time of service.
