CANNON, Gerald "Wayne" – Of Swartz Creek, age 72, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at his residence.
Visitation 12 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the funeral home, Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Gerald was born in Paragould, Arkansas on October 1, 1946, the son of the late Gerald and Jewel Cannon.
He enjoyed golfing, sports, woodworking, cars and spending time at J.T.’s Country Kitchen.
Mr. Cannon was employed by GM Truck and Bus for 42 years and was a member of Local #598.
Surviving are daughter, Jodi Hohman;
sons, Cody Cannon and Chris Cannon;
4 grandchildren, Jonathan (Ann) Cannon, Janette Cannon, Jewel Hohman and Erik Hohman;
4 brothers, Jay (Susan), Jack (Barb), Brad (Rhonda) and Doug (Arlene);
his sister, Tammy Cannon;
his sweetheart, Susie Tinti;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Wayne Cannon Jr.
