Age 78, of Grand Blanc, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2024. In keeping with her wishes, she has been cremated. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation starting at 10:00 am, followed by a heartfelt memorial service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 12534 Holly Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. After the service, a celebration of her life will continue with a luncheon at Warwick Hills Country Club, found at 9057 South Saginaw St in Grand Blanc. Ingrid Jeanne Grasso was born on October 17, 1945, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, cherished daughter of Carl and Eleanor (Smith) Buck. Ingrid found her lifelong companion in Vito, with whom she shared 57 years of deep love and joy, blessed with three children. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, exploring the world as a family. Ingrid’s passion for music filled her home, and she found immense joy in friendly card games. Her heart swelled with love for her six granddaughters, showering them with affection. Ingrid and Vito were fixtures in town, often seen socializing at their favorite restaurants.
Ingrid is survived by her husband, Vito Grasso, along with her daughter Cindy Kovacik (Brian), sons Paul Grasso (Peggy), and Tom Grasso (Kara). Her sisters Carol, Joyce (Lou), Mary Ellen, and six granddaughters Kimberly, Estella, Lucia, Millie, Norah, and Sylvia also cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Eleanor Buck.
