Norbert "Bob" Harley Pugh Sr.
Age 89 of Owosso passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 of natural causes surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 6, 2018 at United Pentecostal Church of Owosso, 1425 North Hickory with Pastor Joey McKinnies officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Wednesday December 5 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Bob was born May 18, 1929 in Pontiac; the son of Charles and Talitha (Lambarth) Pugh.
He retired from General Motors after 42 years of service and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Owosso.
Bob is survived by his children Norbert (Liane) Pugh Jr., Michael (Linda) Pugh, Rolley Pugh, Tammy (Joseph) Hodack, Julie Pugh, Janet (Brad) Dahl, Debra (Donald) Short, Norman Pugh, Bryan Pugh, Kathleen (Scott) Adair, Robert (Tracey) Pugh, Christopher (Tara) Pugh, Jennifer (Thomas) Newell and Sara Cotie; love of his life Shirley Smith; 58 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter Sherry Pugh; granddaughters Heather Pugh and Tiffany Thompson; first wife Helen Arnold; brothers Norman, Rolly, Roy and Wesley and sisters Florene and Pearl.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the United Pentecostal Church of Owosso.
