PETE, Louis – of Montrose, age 87, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing. Funeral Services will be held 10AM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11AM until 9PM and on Thursday from 9AM until the time of service.
Louis was born October 13, 1925 in Hungary to the late William and Julianna Pete. He lived in Montrose most of his life. Louis was a machine repairman at Fisher Body # 1, Local # 598 for 38 years. He married Kathleen Mark on May 26, 1951 at St. Joseph Hungarian Church in Flint. Louis served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Louis was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion in Clio. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and gardening.
