SENTERS, Austyn, age 25, of Lansing, died unexpectedly on April 9.
Austyn loved cars, motorcycles, animals, his friends and family. He was always there to help anyone. He had a big heart and was very generous with his time, dropping everything in order to help.
Austyn was born on May 16, 1998 in Grand Blanc. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 2016. He attended Eastern Michigan University and went to work for Roush Industries, working on autonomous vehicles and special projects, before signing on as a technician for Mercedes-Benz of Okemos, where he had worked for five years.
Austyn loved spending time outdoors, including kayaking, camping and hiking. He was proud of his white Ducati Panigali and enjoyed riding with his large group of friends. Many people ended up at his home after a motorcycle ride or a car meet. His door was always open and his home was a place where everybody felt comfortable.
Austyn loved to make people laugh and always had an elaborate story to tell.
He continued helping people even in death through organ and tissue donation to Gift of Life Michigan.
Austyn is survived by his parents, Patrick and Renee Senters: sister, Aly Senters-Clark and her husband Chandler Clark; aunt and uncle, Jilann and Allen Palmer; aunt, Dana Long; grandparents Dave and Joyce Senters; cousins, Matthew Palmer, Melanie Palmer and her husband Andy Flory; and cousins, Zachary Long, Megan Spears and Preston Long. Also left to cherish his memory are his beloved canine companion and son with four legs, Benny, and his special uncle, Ken Palmer.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI, Larry Parker officiating. Friends may visit with the family starting at 11 a.m. that day.
