HORN, Jerry H., age 86 of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
Graduate of Flint Central High School, Jerry was a veteran of the US Army where he served during the Korean War. In 1956 he married Louise (Lou) Welsby. He retired from General Motors Fisher Body Grand Blanc Plant after 37 years of employment. Jerry was a member of the Flint Elks 222 for over 45 years serving as Exalted Ruler 1990-1991, and various other positions. Besides being an avid golfer, he also loved working in the yard and spending time in his workshop. He was preceded in death by Brothers Robert Horn and Paul Horn.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years Lou Horn, children: Jerry and Roxanne Horn, David Horn and Pamela Spencer, Michael and Heidi Horn. Six grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Marion Horn and Karen Horn, nieces and nephews.
Visitation and graveside services at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
